It is damn near next to impossible to find decent, icon-able images of a 1926 Bentley on the internet. However, I still have icons of a newer, shinier Bentley from the first time I played Crowley (a gift from Adam, when he was in camp). I haven't really figured out what I'm going to do about this, aside from the part where I'm going to be using the icons of the shinier, newer model Bentley. (I suppose camp might transform it, but I can't really see camp giving Crowley something better than when he had before. Then again, he might not consider it an improvement, and would likely be cranky about the change.)

At any rate, suggestions are welcome while I mull it over.

Name: Anthony J. Crowley
Age: About 6000 so far. Immortal.
Height: No idea, but going with somewhere in the neighborhood of 6' tall.
Weight: Also no idea. Fit and trim.
Eyes: Yellow, with slitted pupils. Hidden by dark sunglasses.
Hair: Dark. Stylish.
Cheekbones: High and perfectly molded.

Physical Traits: Demon! Well, looks pretty normal, aside from the shades. Always dresses impeccably. See cheekbones, above.

What's Okay To Mention Around Him: Pretty much anything.

Abilities: There's kind of a limited omniscience thing going on in Good Omens, which is never really spelled out clearly (Crowley seems to know people's desires). He also brought a dead dove back to life and can will things to happen, or to bring them into existence (for example: the Bentley runs on an empty tank, his electronics are never plugged in, and cheap wine can be willed into something much more palatable). Also has impressive driving skills.

Notes for the Psychics: Demon! Was the Original Serpent in the Original Garden. Harbors a very deep, very secret affection for the human race that he will deny vehemently.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Let's talk about it.

Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: ... Again, let's talk about it!

Maim/Murder/Death: Immortal! (Heavenly beings could probably do some real damage, but why would they want to? ♥ )

Cooking: ...So very no.

Clothing/Appearance:  Crowley will almost always be seen wearing more or less what he wears in his icons -- a shirt and tie, possibly a jacket as well.  The necktie is usually a bit loose, and the general effect is meant to be "stylishly rumpled," never sloppy (top button unbuttoned, sleeves rolled up, etc.).  The quality of the clothes he wears is very high.  Designer labels, all the way.  The cut of his clothes is perfect.  They're never stained or smudged or look anything but brand new.  He favors dark colors for his jacket and trousers, and usually a white (or other pale color) shirt.  The necktie varies, but is always tasteful.  No novelty ties, tyvm.

His hair is dark and worn... uh.  Like this, okay?  Or like this.  I don't know how you'd describe that.  Stylishly tousled?  I have no idea.

He will almost always be wearing his sunglasses.  There are, of course, exceptions to this rule -- if he's somewhere dimly lit, like his office or his living quarters (bright light hurts his eyes), he'll be more apt to take off his shades if he's comfortable enough with the person he's with. 

Habits/Mannerisms/Body Language:   Crowley is quite laid back and graceful, so he doesn't waste time with excessive gesturing.  His movements are fluid, and at times probably seem almost snakelike.  He does smoke, which gives him something to do with his hands, but he's not a fidgeter.  Crowley also knows people very well, and reads them very well.  He will not invade your personal space unless he's actively trying to make you uncomfortable.  Mostly he'll just hang back and observe.

Current Residence:   The west wing of the library.  He has an office back there, and he... er.  He "created" a proper flat for himself back there as well.

Typical Daily Routine:  Crowley keeps no typical routine.  If he feels like it, he sleeps -- he doesn't need to, but considers sleep to be one of the greatest pleasures of the earthly realm.  If he feels like it, he eats -- again, he doesn't need to.  If the whim takes him to go for a walk, he does.

Favorite Haunts:  Library, library, library. 

Does he make his bed?  If by "make" you mean "will it to make itself," then yes.

Okay, so -- I will eventually get to sosdanchou's essay, but first, recent events (a certain thread with a certain Father Nightroad) has got me thinking about the "balance" I try to strike with Crowley.  And it occurs to me that it's something that's probably worth an essay.  Maybe.  Or, more accurately, a rambling diatribe.
